Here are some of the questions you may have:
We start with a brief Bible framework. Following, we have a moment of coaching and reflection based on the framework, applying it to whatever circumstances anyone in the group is living. To close, we discuss learnings, transformational pursuits, and commitment to actionable steps that come out of the experience.
In addition to the 2-hour weekly session, you’ll have some tests and reflections to complete outside the session (typically no more than 30-45 minutes). You’ll also need to invest time in pursuing the goals you set for yourself to achieve the maximum transformational impact from the experience. In coaching, we take accountability for our own success.
At the Identity and Purpose Academy, we respect and value all Christian traditions. We don’t take any doctrinal stands except for the Nicene Creed. In Christian coaching, you make your own decisions, guided by the Holy Spirit. You have the freedom to interpret Scriptures and apply Bible principles in a way that aligns with your personal faith journey, we don’t impose our personal views. We simply facilitate the process of reflection in the Bible principles. It’s part of our group contract to refrain from doctrinal discussions and to respect each other’s positions.
If that happens, you can either receive back the proportional amount of the sessions not attended or use it to finish the experience in the next cohort.
Unlike online courses, coaching thrives on real-time interaction, which is integral to the personalized and dynamic nature of the experience. Each session is uniquely tailored to the participants’ current needs and contributions, making it impossible to replicate or capture through a recording. The live interactions, immediate feedback, and personal engagement with both the coach and the group are essential components of the process.
Absolutely! In our sessions, we create a safe space for open and respectful dialogue. We encourage everyone to share their experiences, insights, and even questions they may have. Of course, we’ll approach all discussions with a foundation in Christian principles and a spirit of mutual respect.
