Limits

We at PAL – Pursuing the Abundant Life, are thrilled to feature a special collaboration on Time Management by Solange Santos.

With her contagious optimism, creative mind, and exceptional communication skills, our esteemed client Solange wrote the following poem on Time Management after attending one of our sessions at the  Identity and Purpose Academy, powered by PAL.

Solange holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Seminário Betel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For over 20 years, she has led the Women’s Ministry at Primeira Igreja Batista em Lins de Vasconcelos, also in Rio de Janeiro. Additionally, she heads the Solange Santos Turismo e Missões Agency, a unique initiative that blends mission work and tourism into one transformative experience.

Limits

By Solange Santos

Limits of speed.

Of life.

In life.

Human limits.

What are they for?

Why do they exist?

There are questions for which the answers will also be limited.

Limit: a thin, imaginary line, but real.

“A space of time that determines a duration.”

“A line that determines a spatial extent or that separates two extents.”

Since the beginning of life, the limit has always been there.

As from… to…

Beginning and end.

Life’s journey.

Sometimes irritating!

Yet so important.

Birds have height limits for their flight and also territorial limits.

Saltwater – sea…

Freshwater – river.

All limited.

The waves come and go.

They do not advance.

They respect, without consciousness, but obey the supernatural Power given from the beginning of everything.

Animals of the river.

Of the sea.

Of the land.

That fly.

Those that crawl.

Those that walk.

Each one unconsciously respects and obeys their limits.

Life is full of limits.

There is someone unlimited, Eternal!

There is someone who determines, knows our limitations.

He extends His hands for us to advance, overcome life’s limits, and live an Abundant Life!

“Have you no respect for me? Why don’t you tremble in my presence? I, the Lord , define the ocean’s sandy shoreline as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross. The waves may toss and roar, but they can never pass the boundaries I set.” (Jeremiah 5:22, New Living Translation)

“I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” (Philippians 4:13, New International Version)

Let’s advance life’s limits into an ABUNDANT LIFE WITH GOD!
